What is the difference between CIF and Traditional Exams?

These are formats of the Dental exam; they cover identical material but are administered differently. Traditional exams have all clinical portions taken over a two-day period and are open to all qualified candidates. CIF exams have the clinical portions of the exam taken over a period of months and are open only to current 4th-year students at their school (or residents, graduate students, and faculty at those schools who have received authorization from the school).
